Health & safety consultancy

Practical support for safer, better-controlled work

Independent audits, workplace inspections and construction safety advice designed around the risks, responsibilities and pace of your operation.

Focused input

Extra health and safety capacity, without a generic package

Sometimes you need an independent look at site conditions. Sometimes you need help organising what is already known into a clear plan. At other times, you need reliable safety input across a phase of work.

MacSafety Solutions agrees the purpose of each commission before work begins. That might be a focused inspection, a broader audit, a document review, support closing actions or an agreed programme of project visits.

Audit or inspection—which do you need?

An inspection normally looks at a work area, activity or set of physical conditions at a point in time. An audit usually takes a wider or deeper look at how selected arrangements are planned, implemented and evidenced.

Neither should be wider than necessary. We will help define a sensible scope based on the decision you need to make, the risk profile and the information available.

What you can expect

  • A clear purpose and boundary for the review.
  • Direct discussion of significant issues when they are identified.
  • A report proportionate to the agreed scope.
  • Actions arranged by priority, with responsibility discussed where possible.
  • Clear distinction between what was observed, what was evidenced and what still needs confirmed.
Reports should help close actionsWe favour concise, usable findings over volume. The report format and level of detail will be agreed to suit your internal systems, client requirements and project stage.
