About MacSafety Solutions

Clear advice built around real work

MacSafety Solutions is an independent health and safety consultancy based in County Down, supporting construction teams and businesses throughout Northern Ireland.

Our purpose

Helping clients manage risk without losing sight of delivery

Health and safety works best when it is considered early, communicated clearly and connected to the way a job will actually be carried out.

We provide focused consultancy, documentation, investigation and training support. Every brief starts with understanding the work, the people involved and the standard the client needs to achieve. From there, we agree a sensible scope and deliver practical input that supports decision-making on site and at project level.

We use a professional company approach while remaining honest about our independent consultancy model. The right support is agreed for each commission; we do not present MacSafety Solutions as a large organisation or make promises that depend on unconfirmed capacity.

How we work

Four principles behind every commission

01 / PRACTICAL

Useful on the ground

Recommendations are written so the people planning and carrying out the work can understand what needs to happen next.

02 / PROPORTIONATE

Matched to the risk

We focus effort where it will make a meaningful difference, avoiding unnecessary controls and paperwork.

03 / SPECIFIC

Built around the job

Site conditions, sequencing, interfaces, people, plant and client requirements shape the advice we provide.

04 / STRAIGHTFORWARD

Clear from the start

The scope, required information, deliverables and limitations are agreed before work begins.

05 / COLLABORATIVE

Designed to support delivery

We work constructively with clients, designers, project managers and contractors to help resolve issues.

06 / ACCOUNTABLE

Defined actions and ownership

Where actions are identified, we make priorities and responsibility clear so they can be managed.
